Health Care Alternative Medicine – An Introduction

The term ‘health’ refers to the whole body of nutrients, which include the mind and soul. People think that the body is a simple machine, where it runs on batteries and lights, and nothing else. However, the body has complex systems that integrate all the systems together, and are the basis of life on this planet.

Homeopathy is an alternative medicine system that was first developed in Germany over 200 years ago. It is based on two unconventional ideas: The belief that a disease is caused by a substance which produces similar symptoms in healthy individuals. In addition, that diseases are caused by an imbalance of vital forces. Modern science has shown that these theories are not consistent with current knowledge. Therefore, modern homeopathy has replaced them with belief in auras, or subtle indications that one has a particular health condition. There are various homeopathic treatments for health conditions, including but not limited to:

One type of treatments is known as adjuvant treatments, which include the use of complimentary items like sugar pellets, aroma-therapy diffusers, magnets and the Saffron worm. These treatments are designed to complement a health condition, such as allergies, diabetes, cancer or neurological disorders. The fact that they are natural and involve no drugs makes them highly attractive to patients who may be apprehensive about conventional treatments using conventional drugs.

Alternative medicines have been receiving a lot of media attention recently. There is much debate and controversy surrounding their safety and effectiveness. Many people are talking about homeopathy as a potential substitute for conventional medicine. The National Institute of Health in the United Kingdom stated in its recent report on complementary medicine that there is insufficient evidence to suggest that there are any risks associated with the use of homeopathy. Similarly, the British Medical Journal and British Heart Foundation concluded that there is no proven side effects associated with the use of homeopathy.

Conventional medicine, such as antibiotics, surgery and cancer treatments have many risks as well. As for cancer treatments, some are ineffective while others can cause serious side effects. This is especially the case with highly diluted chemotherapy drugs, which can cause bone marrow cancers. However, homeopathy does not make use of these drugs. Moreover, homeopathy is highly effective and has very few side effects.

In general, both therapies can be equally successful. It all depends on the individual’s state of health and physical and mental well-being. Homeopathy is highly effective in cases where the cause of the health condition is not known. On the other hand, conventional medicine offers hope in the form of cures like acne, high blood pressure, stress and chronic fatigue. A person suffering from any of these can opt for homeopathy.
